2025 City of Long Beach Open Space and Recreation Element Update Survey
We want to hear from you. The City of Long Beach (City) is conducting a survey to help determine parks and recreation priorities for our community to inform future open space planning for the Open Space and Recreation Element Update. Resident feedback is being collected to be combined with quantitative analysis of existing park space, facilities, and programs. These items contribute significantly to our quality of life in Long Beach, and your opinions are very important to us. This survey is not related to any other projects currently underway within the City and is based on the existing inventory of acreage.
This survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete. We have partnered with a third-party survey agency, ETC Institute, to help us gather a representative survey. We appreciate your time, and to say thank you, at the end of the survey you may opt-in for a chance to win one (1) of five (5) $100 prepaid Visa gift cards, courtesy of ETC Institute, for fully completing your survey.
Each question is important. The time you invest in completing this survey will aid the City in taking a resident-driven approach to open space planning to enhance our community and improve the quality of life for all residents. Your response to this survey will remain confidential and will be reported in group form only. If you have any questions, please contact ETC Institute’s project manager Ryan Murray at ryan.murray@etcinstitute.com or at 913-254-4598.
